Hi you,
one more month has passed and what a month it’s been!
Spring has come and gone, and come again in Vienna! And after a long(er) winter depression-style period, the force of spring, empowered by the rebirth of nature in the form of fresh greens and blooming trees, is giving me lots and lots of fresh and creative energy!
Like nature, I also feel reborn again. I actually found in myself the motivation to learn how to ride the longboard and start learning to play the bass!
These are things I never thought I could still manage or achieve in this life and I am so so happy I managed to believe in myself enough to give them a chance.
And guess what! They helped me find my joy in life again.
I feel so ready now to create more awesome, meaningful things for you, revealing pieces of the new album to you bit by bit!
The highlight of this month was for sure the release of the second track of the album, called DEATH OF YOU, together with its monumental Japanese-themed music video!
This one was a creative and spiritual revelation for me personally, as I’ve always felt so deeply connected to Japan, after my 4 visits and even having lived and worked there for a couple of months during my studies.
Being able to combine my never-ending love for Japan, together with its philosophy on life and death, with this emotionally loaded song, felt like a huge and meaningful achievement for me.
This awesome music video was filmed by my amazing husband at Shutterverse Studio.
The track itself is shaped like a duet, and you can hear the badass screams of Borsti Valour from We Blame The Empire on it, intertwining with my own cleans and growls.
So so proud of this one.
